PBL Winter League Back this Weekend
The Junior Division kicks off the 2023-2024 Winter League .
The countdown is on for the Prairie Basketball League’s (PBL) 2023-2024 Winter League.
Friends, families and community members are invited to the opening program on Saturday, October 14, at the Steinbach Regional Secondary School. Players must be present by 9:30 a.m. and the ceremony starts at 10 a.m.
All teams across six divisions are in action throughout the weekend. On Saturday, the Junior Division’s East and North teams will battle it out at noon for the season’s first game. Future Stars will kick off Sunday basketball action at 1:15 p.m.
Media Day is during opening weekend and all players must participate with their full PBL jerseys and basketball shoes. Jerseys will be handed out on Saturday at 8 a.m. and team timeslots can be found on the PBL website.
DJ Ryan Reyes will be in attendance to provide all the music needs.
